Disappointed that it was so short-lived, as I wanted to read and get to know the characters/story better. Ending felt kind of abrupt, just felt kind of unfinished, but overall I really enjoyed this game and just wish there was more content. BTW I found this story after looking for the Episode version I used to play! Good times
First, I am honored you not only remembered the story but sought it out to read again. That is incredibly motivating for a creator.
As to the ending - I have one last story I am in the process of writing based in the Vogvhathos world, set after events of that and X.E.H.A. Rogue. Once this last one is written, I plan to go back and polish/patch and add to any stories people have said they wish more story of. Unfortunately, it is only me creating all of these so it may take some time yet. I may also not be able to continue to support mobile ports, as they are constantly changing requirements. It is one of my hesitations to patching these older Itch.Io versions of the stories, as I know many do love the mobile option. (I do plan to at least go back and patch the Steam versions to work more smoothly with the Steam Deck - mobile is more complicated, however.)
In the meantime, I'd love to know if there was a specific character or more that you wished to know more about. I could add it on to my "to do" for when I can come back to released games and add more to them.
You should be able to click the APK in your device and it should ask 'Install?' and it installs it. However, it may just be that the app needs an update! I will take a look at patching and adding a newer version just in case. I should be able to patch it tonight. I'll update here once I've had a chance to take a look, thanks for letting me know!
I updated the original software engine and patched a new version of Telvoikai that is playable -hopefully- on newer and more devices. Let me know if you still have issues! Also... just since you enjoy the story I thought I'd mention I am actually in the progress of making a VN game for the story. Hopefully coming soon and thank you so much for playing <3
Hello! This game is actually not available on the app store, but can be downloaded right from this page. If you click 'download now', the version you need begins with 'com.corvaena...'. It will prompt asking for a donation but you can just click 'no thanks, bring me to downloads'. Once installed, if it does not prompt to fully install automatically it should show up in your APK folder on your device. Awesome game! But there's a part that I could get through. It was around Chapter 4, I think. My character lost connection to the base and was met by some kind of mermaid, then the app closed on its own. Is this some bug, or did I just meet a bad ending?. I've tried changing my choices but I keep on getting forced out of the game in that part.
Definitely a bug! There must be a branch I missed. I will check into this and hopefully have a patch in the next day for it. Thank you for letting me know. So glad you are enjoying the game. :)
Patch 3.2.0 has been added and I believe what was causing the issue has been found and fixed! If you have further issues, please do not hesitate to let me know. You call it an 'app', so I am guessing you are on the Android version- if you download again the same way it *should* automatically patch it for you, and you can hopefully continue right where you left off :)
A good question that actually came up in testing! I do have a canon idea of how they would appear, but it was right on the line for if people wanted to imagine Zheng their own way or if they preferred I paint one. It sounds like you would prefer an image? I am on the fence myself.
